I repeat! High protein Reese’s puffs! Made from simple healthy ingredients, in the comfort of your home.
AND it’s a mini-batch recipe so you can give it a try if you don’t believe me how good this is, and then you’ll end up making a mega-batch of 18 whatever servings anyways!
Just like the boxes you find in the cereal isles, but it’s so good for you, it’s OK to have 18 servings lying around your house (I think).
It’s the simplest thing to make, it’s not really a “puff” texture, more of a cookie texture, but we LOVED that.
It is so good to just snack on (hello, all 3 macros and a bunch of fiber in one well rounded snack) just grab a handful and go your merry way.
You can tell from the colorful language how excited I am to share this with you.
Now I gotta go and make yet another batch of this!
Let me know if you give the recipe a try 🙂
Mini-batch Reese’s Puffs Protein Cereal
Equipment
- Cookie sheet or any tray
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp nut/seed butter (32 g) I used peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (21 g)
- About 4 tsp (nut) milk (20 g) I used unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (30 g) plant based if desired
- 1/4 cup oat flour (30 g) sub (gf) all purpose if desired
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cocoa powder (2 g)
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment.
- In a small bowl mix together nut butter and maple syrup (it helps to gently microwave them to loosen your nut butter, like 10 secs).
- Add all other ingredients except cocoa powder. Add enough (nut) milk 1 tsp at a time to make it come together into a cookie dough consistency (not sticky, if it becomes too sticky, add some more flour or protein).
- Use half the dough and make small round bits of cookie dough on the parchment.
- Add a pinch of cocoa powder to the rest of the dough and again, make small round bits.
- Bake 15 minutes and check for desired level of crunchiness. If you like them more crunchy you can bake a few more minutes.
- Cool your cereal completely and enjoy!

So glad to see you’re still cooking up a storm. I found you on Reddit like a million years ago, and was there for your expansion to IG too. Then life got in the way and I wasn’t super active on either.
Excited to catch up on the last few years of your tasty treats ! 😀
