Ingredients
1
cup
flour
(120 g) gf all purpose if desired
1
tsp
baking powder
1/4
tsp
salt
1
tsp
sugar
(4 g)
1
cup
thick greek style yogurt
(224 g) df alternative if desired
1
tbsp
semolina/regular flour for rolling
(7 g)
(optional) spices like thyme, rosemary, etc.
(optional) grated cheese like cheddar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a medium/large bowl whisk together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder. Add any mix-ins like spices and cheese, if using.
Gradually add yogurt (I add about 3/4 of it first) until a shaggy dough forms. You may not need all of the yogurt.
Turn dough over on a floured surface, dust with flour. Hardly kneading the dough, shape it into a disk.
Cut whichever way you like, brush with milk or melted butter if you like, and bake 15 minutes.
Let biscuits cool one minute and enjoy!!
Notes
Nutrition information is based on 2% strained greek yogurt.
