Small-batch Stove-top Granola

- 1 tbsp oil or (plant) butter (15 g) I used coconut oil
- 1 tbsp any nut/seed butter (16 g) or more oil, I like to give it a little extra flavor
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (21 g)
- 1 cup rolled oats (80 g)
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (15 g)
- pinch of salt, cinnamon
- (optional) dried fruit, chocolate chips to stir in after cooling
In a medium pan on medium heat add oil, nut butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, melt and stir to combine.
Add oats and nuts, stir to coat them all, lower the heat and cook, stirring frequently, until toasted to desired level, about 5 minutes.
Let granola cool completely and add any optional mix ins.
Enjoy with yogurt, milk, omg, the best.
