Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats (80 g) rolled oats work best
  • 1 1/2 cup any milk (360 g) I use unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 servings (plant-based) protein powder (about 90 g) use any flavor you like

Magic Shell

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (45 g)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (5 g) use any oil you like
  • 3 tbsp (optional) chopped nuts (21 g) I used peanuts, totally optional but add a little extra fat and fiber and crunch!

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients and distribute into 3 jars. How much milk you need will depend on your protein powder so adjust accordingly.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  • In the morning melt your chocolate and oil in 30 sec increments in the microwave until all chocolate has melted and smooth.
  • (Optional) sprinkle your nuts over the jars if using.
  • Pour chocolate over your overnight oats and refrigerate or freeze 10 minutes to set.
  • Crack your shell and enjoy!
