Small-batch Stove-top Granola

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter (15 g) I used coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp any nut/seed butter (16 g) or more oil, I like to give it a little extra flavor
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (21 g)
  • 1 cup rolled oats (80 g)
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (15 g)
  • pinch of salt, cinnamon
  • (optional) dried fruit, chocolate chips to stir in after cooling

Instructions

  • In a medium pan on medium heat add oil, nut butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, melt and stir to combine.
  • Add oats and nuts, stir to coat them all, lower the heat and cook, stirring frequently, until toasted to desired level, about 5 minutes.
  • Let granola cool completely and add any optional mix ins.
  • Enjoy with yogurt, milk, omg, the best.
