Easy Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (128 g)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (84 g)
  • 3/4 cup flour (90 g) gf all purpose if desired
  • 2 tbsp (nut) milk (30 g)
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional sugar to sprinkle rims of cookies
  • 20 pieces chocolate vegan if desired

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and line a cookie sheet with parchment.
  • Stir together peanut butter and maple syrup.
  • Add flour, make a well in the center, add baking soda, salt, roughly mix those into the flour (I use the tip of my spatula).
  • Combine until a crumbly mixture is formed.
  • Add enough milk to form a soft cookie dough (add 1 tbsp at a time and stop as soon as it comes together).
  • Make 20 balls (I used my small cookie scoop) and flatten gently.
  • Bake 8 minutes, remove from the oven, press a piece of chocolate onto each cookie.
  • Let cookies cool and firm up before enjoying.
